6.5 Tons of Potassium Nitrate Used for Terror Discovered in Sugar Bags Marked as EU Assistance

"Now released for publication: In a joint IDF and ISA operation several weeks ago, a truck was caught at one of the crossing points in Judea and Samaria carrying approximately 6.5 tons of Potassium Nitrate.

The Potassium Nitrate was disguised in sugar bags, and was intended for use by terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

Potassium Nitrate is a banned substance in the Gaza Strip and the Judea and Samaria region due to its use by terrorists for the manufacturing of explosives and Qassam rockets.

The terror organizations disguised the Potassium Nitrate in sugar bags that were marked as being part of the humanitarian aid provided by the European Union. This is another example of how the terror organizations exploit the humanitarian aid that is delivered to the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip with Israel's approval."

The EU issued a condemnation: 

"If this was an attempt to misuse the name of the EU or European  Commission it would be an isolated criminal act and we condemn it." the official said. "But this criminal act cannot put into question the efforts by the EU to provide aid that is vital for the most vulnerable Palestinians."

However, as is evident in the above statement, the money and other aid will continue to pour into the hands of the very same groups of criminals who import Postassium Nitrate to build the bombs and rockets. At the end of it all, these donors will be seen as contributors to the oubreak of the uncontrollable conflagration that is now threatening us in the Middle East.

In a continuation of the Annapolis 'peace' conference, 68 countries pledged $7.4 billion to the PA proving only that if not a real peace-maker (and he isn't) and with no real authority to lead his "Authority" (which he hasn't), Abbas is indeed a real fund-raiser!

The terrorist leaders rule their people with inhumane cruelty paid for by the  humanitarian generosity of Western powers.

In the meantime, photos and articles abound in which the poor oppressed Palestinian must wait in line to cross from Israeli areas into those ruled by the PA. Everyone hates to wait in line and of course it is particularly unpleasant if you are thought to be suspect. (Think Airport security lines!) Israelis also wait in some of the same long lines and frustrating traffic jams due to these very same checkpoints, i.e., at the entrances to Jerusalem among others.  In addition, the majority of Palestinians pass through at the same speed as Israelis -- of course, the exceptions make the news.

Yet, if journalists were to bother to ask the common Palestinian folk who live in one of those areas (without identifying them by name or photo), they would hear more serious complaints. They would hear: "What money?" They get little "sugar"; these people get no industry, no work, no wages, and no improvement to their quality of life. There are few social services, and those that are provided are intended to buy their loyalty, service, and sometimes their children. The amount of basic foodstuffs that does filter down to them is below subsistance.

Thousands of Arab East Jerusalem residents voted with their heads, if not their hearts, recently when they submitted applications for Israeli citizenship in order not to fall under the rule of the PA. (see article) Most are but pawns in the hands of the terrorists and since 1948 they have been kept poor and suffering in order to manipulate world opinion to pay and pay more. This is the sustenance the warlords use to maintain their power and luxurious lifestyles.

There have been numerous instances of weaponry being hidden under the mattress of a patient being transported or under the floor of the ambulance; of ambulances ferrying terrorists back and forth from a line of fire, and the many other proven instances of this illegal use of vehicles that  *SHOULD* be immune from inspection.

Meanwhile Sec. of State (US) Condoleeza Rice is bringing full pressure against Israel to  1) tear down most of the checkpoints; 2) allow ambulances and other humanitarian vehicles free passage. She of all people knows what goes on and that most of the checkpoints are very obviously the only protection nearby Israeli cities have against the terrorist attacks! She is either incredibly stupid or she is transparently pro-Palestinian (not the poor ones, the ruling ones!) It seems to work this way: The Palestinian leaders pass Rice a list of demands and she effectively acts as their agent, using her power and the media to achieve their aims:  Money, weapons, free passage, limits on Israeli building even in Jerusalem and its suburbs, among others.

While the transport of this material meant to explode in Israeli homes, schools, and factories reveals the extent of the danger to civilians, the greater danger is that in demanding that Israel cease to defend its population, she is precipitating the outbreak of a fearful war.  

The threat is great and imminent. Hizbollah has reestablished itself along the northern border with more armaments than before, all under the auspices of the UN. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hizbollah, Fatah and al Qaeda among many others are in Gaza and they are well-armed; the Americans, the EU, the Arab nations, and the Russians are sending armaments as well as money, the Egyptians are assisting with the transport of arms into Gaza. The whole Western World is partner with the terrorists for adding fuel to the fire and Israel will not be the ONLY one in jeopardy when the current localized war spreads and grows.

The diplomatic pressure is about the checkpoints. The reality is about death raining down on homes and schools. The reality is about war.
