Bombs on Border
Fog in the night, rain, snow. . . they all become weapons of war in the hands of terrorists. Under their cold cover, evil men placed bombs disguised as stones along the border of Israel. They were set to kill and maim any living being who unknowingly wandered into range.
Two weeks ago, IDF troops destroyed two Hizbullah bunkers. They had been discovered when Israeli soldiers searched the area between the security fence and the "Blue Line" -- the International Border". The bunkers had been in use by the Hizbullah during the summer war and were still filled with supplies, food and tools.
The Lebanese troops fired on Israeli troops searching for more bombs in the "dmz" between the international border and Israel's security fence. For once Unifil justified Israeli action, both in searching for the bombs on Israeli soil and in returning fire. Lebanon decided not to file a complaint with the UN afterall.
The first question ought to have been, "What was the Hizbullah doing on the Israeli side of the International border, let alone why did they plant the bombs!"
