BULLETIN 22 JULY 2008: IN A SECOND "COPY CAT" TERROR ATTACK an East Jerusalem Arab working at a construction site rammed his bulldozer into a city bus and 6 private cars. So far 23 have been reported injured, one of them critically. A young boy has had to have his leg amputated as a result of the attack. It appears that this attacker, too, has a criminal record. It seems that handing them the keys to a bulldozer is as bad as handing them a gun. *****************************

The evening of the 9th of February an 8-year old boy lost his left leg and has undergone serveral operations in an attempt to save his right leg following a missile attack on Sderot by Hamas terrorists from Gaza. His brother, age 18, with extensive injuries caused by the same missile, also remains hospitalized following a number of operations.

Hundreds of Israeli tanks took part in a loud and intensive training session in the Judean Hills northeast of Jerusalem on Thursday April 26th. In an effort to prepare for an anticipated Syrian attack on the Golan, units simulated tank battles between the lastest Merkava MK 4 Israeli tanks and the Syrian advanced T-72s from Russia. The well-planned war games included thousands of soldiers, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

Reports coming from various news souces warn that Syria moved a large number of tanks to the Israeli border along with a large number of anti-tank missiles which they aimed at Israel. After 30 years of quiet, it is unsettling and uncertain what Syrians have in mind. Meantime, Iran and Hizbollah have indicated that Hizbollah retracts support for the UN Security Council resolution and will not agree to be disarmed or replaced by any other force in South Lebanon.
